Pillow talk turns vivacious in the hands of Ontwerpduo studio cofounder Tineke Beunders. Leolux recruited her to design part of its Pode brand of furniture, described by the manufacturer as "youthful" and "energetic" as well as "a touch brutal." We see little of the latter in her Dot, an assortment of comfy cushions launched this year at Gemany's IMM Cologne fair. The foam-filled tufted oblongs come in three sizes, which can be pieced together like a puzzle to create a lounge pit. Small measures 13 by 20 inches, medium 10 by 26 inches, and large 20 by 26 inches. For fabric, specify a Pollack wool-nylon in 15 colors or a Kvadrat wool in four.
